Application of ceramic metallization in ceramic-metal brazing

Ceramic surface metallization is mainly used in ceramic and kovar alloy brazing, high gas-tight ceramic-kovar alloy welding welding, metallized in its welding position, and then brazing. By improving the infiltration of metal solder on the ceramic surface, and the metallization layer as the intermediate layer, forming a firm connection with the metal solder through metallurgical combination, so as to improve the binding strength, avoid a large number of gaps in the welding position, and then improve the welding air tightness and welding strength.

 

The metallization layer can also improve the thermal conductivity of ceramics, which is critical for applications that require high thermal conductivity (such as electronic packaging). Electric lens and PVD core components, ceramic packaging pipe and shell products will use metalized layer to assist brazing, which not only improves the air tightness of the product, but also meets the requirements of thermal conductivity of electronic packaging products.
